Fahrdienst Software - Operations Software for Transport Providers

Fahrdienst Software is the operations platform I built for taxi, rental car, and medical transport companies that want to get out of Excel sheets, paper notes, and scattered WhatsApp coordination.

The product focuses on the daily work of transport providers: accepting trips, dispatching drivers, managing vehicles, planning shifts, handling recurring medical rides, and preparing payroll or monthly billing from one place.

The Problem

Small and mid-sized transport companies often run on a patchwork of tools. One calendar for shifts, paper for notes, Excel for lists, chat apps for driver updates, and another system for accounting. None of these tools is wrong on its own, but together they create duplicate work and slow down dispatch.

That becomes especially painful for medical transport work. Recurring patients, approvals, return trips, driver availability, vehicle status, and billing all need to stay in sync. When they live in separate places, the dispatcher becomes the integration layer.

The Solution

Fahrdienst Software combines the core workflow into one system. Dispatchers can create rides, assign vehicles or drivers, notify drivers through the mobile app, and keep the ride visible from request to completion.

The same product also covers the surrounding business work: shift planning, driver absences, customer records, recurring medical rides, vehicle management, maintenance deadlines, trip logs, and payroll preparation.

What It Does

Dispatch and driver communication Trips are created in the web app and sent to drivers by push notification. If a driver rejects a trip, it returns to dispatch instead of disappearing inside a chat thread.

Medical and recurring rides Clinics, dialysis centers, senior homes, recurring schedules, approvals, outbound trips, and return trips stay connected to the same dispatch workflow.

Shifts, vehicles, and absences The planning surface shows who is working, who is unavailable, and which vehicle is assigned. That removes the need for separate calendars and vehicle spreadsheets.

Billing and payroll preparation Hours, absences, vacation, trip records, and monthly closing data are already in the system, so the business does not need to maintain a second source of truth for administration.

Product Positioning

The product is intentionally practical: hosted in Germany, built for taxi, rental car, and medical transport operators, and priced so small fleets can start without turning it into a procurement project. New companies can test the first 30 trips before choosing a paid plan.

The homepage also carries real customer proof from transport companies already using it in daily operations, which matters in a market where trust and support are often more important than feature volume.
